Another four days left to enjoy all the beauty and news at the Dutch Design Week. You can see the various spots developping, and there are also new places to visit. A lot has been temporarily set up this week, for example the first horse meat restaurant in the Netherlands ‘The fat pony’. Totally focused on dishes with horse meat, such as sausage rolls or toast with smoked horse meat. Reflected in a fantasic way in menu, decor and even self-designed tableware with the pedigree of horses in mind. I also spoke with Deborah Dax, graduated at the Dutch Design Academy. She designed women’s clothing for men, because a man simply has a different physique than a woman. The clothes fit perfectly this way, and man feel more comfortable in it . Very thinkfull to work with taboos, to get more insight.
These examples illustrate the diversity in wich the designers operate at the Dutch Design Week. Until next Sunday, October 30 you can visit Eindhoven!
